Northern Summer

More than 18 months ago - last June - I came to the USA and Canada for the first time, to visit many of my furry friends, also for the first time. This was largely due to the extreme generosity of ALF'ers, to whom I'll always be grateful, and they know who they were and presumably still are.

I was walking on the beach today and it occured to me that I've never written anything about that trip: nothing more than perhaps a post here and there which may have mentioned some things that took place during it. I thought perhaps it's time I tried to capture those memories before they fade, as it's now long enough ago to seem like.. well, long enough ago. So I'm going to write a day-by-day account of that 30-day trip, entirely from memory, a year and a half on. At least, I'll try to. For all I know I might be unable to remember one day from the next - and of course I can't assure you it won't be mind-numbingly dull, but I'll do my best to make it fun to read, and you might see yourself in a picture :)
